I have another printable pack of copywork pages for your homeschool.
These Psalms Copywork Pages include scriptures from the book Psalms; I tried to select verses that are meaningful for children.
What’s Included in the Psalms Copywork Pages?
The Psalms copywork pages include a variety of verses and passages from the book of Psalms.
Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
Psalm 4:8
In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.
Psalm 46:1-2
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea.
Psalm 47:1-2
Clap your hands, all peoples! Shout to God with loud songs of joy! For the Lord, the Most High, is to be feared, a great king over all the earth.
Psalm 51:10
Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Psalm 42:8a
By day the Lord commands his steadfast love, and at night his song is with me.
Psalm 139:7-12
Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.
If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,”
even the darkness will not be dark to you;
the night will shine like the day,
for darkness is as light to you.
Psalm 121
I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.The Lord watches over you—
the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.The Lord will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.
Psalm 133:1
Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity.
Psalm 13:5-6
But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing the Lord’s praise, for He has been good to me.
Psalm 14:1a
The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.”
How to Use the Psalms Copywork Pages
Some of the passages are split into sections so that your student can work on them for more than one day.
I recommend that your completes one copywork exercise each day. If you use the Psalms Copywork at that rate, this printable pack will last 22 days.
You may also want to challenge your student to memorize one of the longer passages. These scriptures will guide and encourage them all of their lives.
