in 2010 I created this LEGO Lapbook for Elijah when he was in 3rd grade. I fixed all the broken links and videos it in 2012, but it was due for another update so I fixed all the links again (8/19/15). On 3/17/20 I updated the PDF with new fonts and images and a few new pages. The only way I know when things are broken is when you tell me. So, be the squeaky wheel!
This LEGO unit study is written to the student as an independent study and each day includes four components:
- Copywork
- Word of the Day
- Explore & Learn
- Building Challenge

You can view our study in action in this Learning with LEGO post.
Don’t forget to get some bricks! This LEGO Classic Medium Creative Brick Box is an excellent starter brick set for your builder!
If your student is interested in more about the LEGO story (after Day 1), you may want to watch this video with her. Please Note: The word d— is used once.
I hope your student enjoys a week of LEGO Learning as much as Elijah did.

WOW! My boys LOVE legos! Actually Lego’s are their quite time activity while we do Read Alouds (this is how they listen for 2-3 hrs at a time while we journey through great reads!) I’m adding this to our 2010-2011 School year right now! May I put this link under my curriculum for 2010-2011 on my website? You requested that no one “hot links,” however I wasn’t sure what that means. Thank you SO MUCH!
