I am still creating early literacy activities for Simon. This week I designed Color Grab Bag, an activity great for pre-readers and those learning sight words. This would also make a super easy preschool or kindergarten activity bag.
You put nine crayons in a brown bag. The colors used are yellow, blue, green, red, orange, pink, purple, brown, and black. Your student reaches in the bag and grabs one crayon then matches the color to the color word one of the printable pages. Once he has matched the crayon to a color word, he should trace or color the shape. Easy. Simple. And get them reading their color words!

I reeeeally want a vitamix. But since our current blender (cheapie cuisinart) is still chugging along making smoothies I can’t justify the expense. It might have to take a little tumble off the counter. *lol*

I love my VitaMix! And I even posted a picture of it in my blog post this morning. No printable today, but we sure had an awesome day with some fun Gingerbread activities! Enjoy your green smoothies – I think I’m off to make one myself š

Just found your site while looking for some stuff for my little boy, love the site. Just a heads up, my kids wont dink the green smoothy, but if you throw in about 5-7 blueberries, it turns a pretty purple color
