We started our study with The Story About Ping. We added in a Learn About China Kit, a co-op field trip to P.F. Chang’s, and bits & pieces from the Ancient Civilizations History Pocket. We ended up with a boy who couldn’t wait to learn about China each day!

Very, very neat – all of it. I love how colorful and fun it looks. I also like the notebook you are using – did you make that?

I love the notebook you are using. Did you just bind together some card stock or do you buy blank ones already made?

Hey ladies,
I did not make the notebook. I am so (SO) tempted to by a ProClick binding machine, but I just can’t get myself to shell out the money.
I buy the spiral bound bare books at http://www.barebooks.com; they have discontinued many of their sizes, though, so I’m not sure what the future will hold for the spiral bound bare books. I was thinking I should really stock up just in case. They are $2.25 each for a 24 page book. The paper is really sturdy. We used these books many times last year and they are all holding up well. š
