I hit a library sale this morning. I was late. Friends night was LAST night, but I still found tons of treasures! This library charges by the pound. They charge .50 per pound! I purchased 40 POUNDS of books (and I didn’t take any bags because I told myself I was only going to get a few…HA!). I don’t have pictures of all of them, but here is some of our new $20 reading material!
Readers for Elijah
Poetry, wonderful poetry!
Five in a Row Books
The two Before FIAR books were just a gift from God! I don’t want to tell you the entire story, but what a blessing!
Animal Books for my little zoologist
More animal books – Can you guess which one he went crazy over? It starts with an R.
True Books – Deserts was a fun find since we have one more week of our desert unit study left. Elijah is excited about the crystals book.
Art and Math
Just for Simon
David Adler Biographies and I Pledge Allegiance
Science books on bones, plants, rocks, lightning, and light
Some Homeschool Share books (VERY excited to get Rocks in His Head!)
Story Stretcher Lesson books…these lessons don’t look as rich as FIAR, but they had some really good ideas!
Great for Workboxes!
Go-alongs for our FIAR Volume I studies next year
Misc. Books
More books!
Even more books!
Then I stopped taking pictures. I decided to add up retail for all these books. Are you ready? Do you want to know how much I would’ve paid? I totaled it up at $755.26. Wow! I saved $735.26 today (do you think Jason will buy that?).
