The book of the week for Letter F is Feathers for Lunch by Louis Ehlert.

Simon glued lots of white feathers to the letter F.

Lessons & Lapbook
Simon mastered his letters and sounds a few months ago, so we are no longer making the letter lapbooks. We will simply stick the letter art pages in his ABC binder to fill in the gaps. 

However, if we were making a lapbook, we would use the Feathers for Lunch templates as well as some of the F mini-books. We will do Feathers for Lunch sometime soon, but it will be separate from his Letter Notebook. 

Let's Make a Memory ~ F for Fishing Fun!

I filled the sink with water, threw in some fun foam fish, and gave Simon a "net" (strainer). He had a lot of fun fishing the sea creatures out of the sink. We counted the fish he caught as he went along. He played fisherman for a long, long time!
