Free books. Two of my favorite words.
I was cautiously excited when I first found We Give Books, but I was happily surprised when I scanned the shelves. Many of these books have a home in our bookcases (even after the great book purge of Summer 2012).
Simon is crazy for the DK Eye Wonder nonfiction books. We Give Books offers Reptiles, Big Cats, Weather, Pyramid, Whales & Dolphins, and others.
A few years ago when Elijah studied different habitats, we purchased the DK 24 Hours books. These are fabulous, and I was excited to see them listed on We Give Books.
Other good series from DK include See How They Grow and Watch Me Grow. This site offers gobs of these titles: See How They Grow: Penguin, See How They Grow: Owl, Watch Me Grow: Ape, Watch Me Grow: Turtle . . . too many to list!
